UB Leaderboards
If you enjoy playing poker, chances are you will probably want to play tournaments. Most of the major poker sites have tournament leaderboards so you can follow the best tournament players or compete for extra cash prizes. UB, which shares players with Absolute Poker on the Cereus Network, offers some nice incentives to their leaderboards. Players are ranked on one of four leaderboards, and there is cash to be won on each one.
UB uses point systems to rank their players. The number of points received in a given tournament depends on the prize pool and where you finish. The same formula is used for both MTTs and SnGs.
UB has decided to have leaderboards for the week, month, and year. The weekly version takes your best 10 results, and the person finishing in 1st wins $1,000. For the month, your top 20 results are used. This leaderboard has $14k to give out to its winners, with first place receiving $6.5k. And then last but definitely not least, the yearly leaderboard uses your best 100 cashes. 50th through 11th receive entries to a special $36k freeroll. 10th through 1st place receive cash. Both 1st and 2nd place also win $10,000 WSOP Main Event entries!
You can also give SnG leaderboards a shot first. This is because there are three divisions for different buy-ins. The Diamond division was made for people playing from $1 to $20. The total weekly prize pool for Diamond is $1.5k and the prize pool for the month is $5k. The Heart division is for people that play between $21 and $50. The Heart division has $3,000 weekly and $7,000 monthly. You might want to try the Spade division for buy-ins higher than $51. This division has a $6k prize pool for the week and a $10k prize pool for the month.
If you are excited about the leaderboards and the great prizes, you should definitely play as many tournaments as possible and take advantage of some of these extra ub bonus cash prizes!
